Anthony Joshua has defeated Joseph Parker on points to win his fourth world title. AJ has he is popularly known has now unified three of the four major world crowns. Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua MBE is currently a unified world heavyweight champion, having held the IBF title since 2016, the WBA (Super) and IBO titles since 2017, and the WBO title since March 2018. At regional level he held the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles from 2014 to 2016.

British-Nigerian born rapper, Skepta has been handed a chieftaincy title in Nigeria. In his hometown of Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Skepta was honored with the title Amuludun of Odo-Aje.

Skepta whose real name is Joshua Adenuga is an English grime artist, rapper, songwriter, record producer and music video director. The ceremony was also attended by his girlfriend Naomi Campbell.

Ruti Olajugbagbe is crowned winner of The Voice 2018. 18 year old Ruti who is of Nigerian descent is a student and part time carer.

Ruti fought off stiff competition from the other finalists to win the final. Her debut single was released immediately after the final. She also won £100,000 and a record deal with Polydor.
