STATEMENT FROM CANUK

 

The recent spate of senseless killings in the UK in recent times is no doubt causing families in the county to wonder when this epidemic will end; it is causing huge concern especially in the black communities.

The recent stabbing brings the number of murders in London since the beginning of the year to more that 50.

CANUK is appalled at the increase in the spate of killings that has seen more than a dozen young people lose their lives in the streets of London in 2018, as a result it is assiduously exploring what it can do to prevent or reduce these attacks including offering its support and assistance to the Metropolitan Police to help reduce this scourge. CANUK is committed to doing everything in it’s power to aid the community and it’s members.
